About Richards Chiropractic
I graduated with BSc Chiropractic degree in 1993 from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and after completing a further year of post-graduate study, I gained my diploma, earning the title Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). I later completed a PgDip in Clinical Chiropractic in 2001 specialising in rehabilitation. Following graduation, I worked in clinics in Wiltshire, Yorkshire and Co Durham. In 2019, I completed the Essentials iN Veterinary Chiropractic and now treat horses and dogs remotely.
I have spent the last 25 years working in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, before setting up Richards Chiropractic based at the InHealth Diagnostic Centre.
I have been trained and own a Low Level Laser. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)/ photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT), or cold laser, is a safe, non- invasive, drug free pain relief modality that can help accelerate healing times and decrease inflammation. I have also been trained by Anne Penman to use LLLT to help with Smoking Cessation and I am keen to start using this knowledge to help smokers to quit for good. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
I treat using Diversified techniques, blocks, activator and soft tissue therapy including LLLT and can prescribe rehabilitation exercises to help prevent future reoccurrences and optimise patient’s recovery.
I am a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). I am registered with most private healthcare providers including AXA PPP and can accept direct billing to these insurance companies.
